The best soaring in Canada awaits you.
SO YOU WANT TO GO FLYING?
Get up close and personal with Mount Swansea, Invermere's most iconic mountain, as we tow your flight right over the town of Invermere and then to the east side of the valley for a gentle glide down!
Capture the true power of Mother Nature's lifting forces by flying over the Rocky Mountains. Our Pilots use thermals to climb high above the valley and show you many more mountains than you can see from the ground.
The most premier glider ride you can do! For this ride, you will fly in our high performance Duo Discus glider high above the mountains for an extended tour of the valley. Our Pilots will use Mountain Thermals to show you why Invermere is a top destination for soaring.
Glacier Add-on — Go further than ever before on your glider ride with the Glacier Add-On. Explore the high alpine and fly over some of the most beautiful glaciers in the Canadian Rockies. If interested, please discuss this add-on with your Pilot prior to the flight!

ESTIMATED COSTS TO LICENCE
The intent of a glider licence here in Invermere is to soar — using mountain thermals to stay aloft for many hours. The costs below are a basic start-to-finish of upper-air work and circuits only. Soaring flights with an instructor are available on good-weather afternoons, and that is where the real learning happens. Once solo, you are encouraged to soar and stay up for many hours; as you fly longer flights, your cost per hour effectively decreases while your skills increase.
Some people need more training, some need less. A good rule of thumb: the more you are able to fly, the more you will progress — you won't have to repeat or re-learn exercises.
